ISTT Wins First Place for International Affairs in National Ranking of Activities

Isfahan Science and Technology Town was awarded first place amongst the nation's Higher Education Institutions , Science and Technology Parks and Research Institutions. This honor is annually awarded to institutions after a nationwide assessment is conducted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. ISTT was the recipient of the award for the scientific and international activities conducted by its employees in the period of 2016-2017.

The president of ISTT received this award from Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Mansour Gholami in Tehran. A section of the commendation that Dr. Gholami extended to Dr. Keshmiri, on the plaque that was awarded to him during the ceremony stated:

“I congratulate you and the hard working team under your guidance and management for their international activities in the field of science and technology. When such activities are done correctly they lead to the realization of scientific and technological diplomatic goals, a worthy accomplishment deserving of recognition. For your international activities in the field of science and technology during the period of 2016-2017, I wish you and all who are in the service of the I.R. Iran continued success and health.”

In present years ISTT has endeavored to further support its more than 480 small and medium sized k-based enterprises in their formation and development by strengthening its international relations and participation in international events. As part of this effort ISTT has become the host for the 35^th International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) world conference scheduled to take place from the 2^nd to 5^th of September this year.
